Lecture 8. Quality Control, Exploratory Analysis and Statistics of RNA-seq Experiments

This is a part of Transcriptomics course (Prof.Stephanie Kreis) for MISB-students. The course includes both lecture and hands-on practicals. The main goal of the course is to familiarize students with data in transcriptomics, show them the methods for data exploratory analysis, and related statistcal approaches. Practical part includes working with gene expression data using R. Participants should have basic R programming skills (please check a module Introduction to R).

  • The lecture is given by Dr. Petr Nazarov, Head of Bioinformatics platform and Multiomics Data Science research group, Luxembourg Institute of Health.

Place & Date

  • 9:00-12:30, October 24, 2023
  • Webex (if possible, we will try to record the session)
